Posting period Of MM

Hi Friends

Just guide me how to open new mm period as currenly Dec and Jan are open in system and i want to open Feb period.Please guide me properly as we are on production server

Hi,

First of all we should not open the MM period in Production client, it has to be done from Client side only.

But Still you want to open the period , then please try that in Testing client first as below.

Go to MMPV

Enter Comp Code

Enter Current period

Enter year

Select Radio Button of Check and Close Period

As per your business requirement you can flag the Allow neg qties & Allow neg vals in prev

and Execute,

It will Automatically closes the Current Period and Open's the new Period.

And remember you can not Roll Back to the Previous Period
