Wage Types

Hi all,

I want to know what are the wage types?(INDIAN PAYROLL)

For eg: 0008 Basic pay. so we r copying basic pay from MB10(BASIC SALARY).Basic pay is a Wage type here right.

Is that HRA also come under wagetype or not .If it comes from which we should copy it like (M230 like this)

or

If It comes under basic pay only like this what all comes under basic pay (MB10) like HRA............

Hi,

Wagetypes are created by copying model wagetypes.

Wagetypes have characteristics..jus go thru their characteristics n use ones which suits ur client requirements.

MB10 is used for basic,M230 for HRA,M210 for DA, M220 for CA etc.

Hi rajani,

So,like that we have to copy from each model wage type on the basis of client requirement.Is it rite.

It is standard like for basicpay MB1O,M230 For HRA.

But I heard that even HRA and all that is also copied from MB10.

if u try to copy from MB10 than there can be some problems regarding valuation and they wont reflect in RT tables

u r asking for wage types so

go to OH11 and before takeing MB10 place ur cursor on the feild and press F4 u will get all the list of the wage types

Hi sikindhar,

Thanks for ur quick reply.In F1 help it will show M230 as HRA.But we r not copying from M230.We r taking in MB10 only ,Like Basicpay MB10 underthat we r taking HRA&CA.

why?just i want toknow.
