Valuation class in service master

Hi..

For service purchse order to create it is mandetory to give the account assignment so that when you post the service entry the amount is booked against the GL account..

Now my question is in service master record what is the use of mentioning the valuation class when the mount is booked against the gl specifed in PO.

Hi

If you want to determine GL account automatically in your txns, then we generaly maintain valuation class

For service masters,u can assign valuation class in service master which generaly helps in automatic G/L account determination for Service PO's,

you have to maintain WRX for Valuation Class for example 3200 in OBYC.

This valuation class you have to maintain in service master

Hi ,

I have tried for Automatic determination if WRX(GR/IR) Account for Service Master Record, But It is not working,

If u assign the Valuation class for a Service Material(DIEN) it is working.

But for Service Mster Record We can not determine the WRX Account through Valuation class.and I came to know that it'a SAP standard functionality.
