GL Account Group Missing In MDG

mdg-missing-account-group.pngThe G/L Account Group is not visible in any of the G/L maintenance transactions of a

MDG Hub 9.0 system (running on S/4 1610).

The configuration from an ECC6 system was copied to the new environment using a 'configuration restore'.

All G/L data appears to continue to work normally & it is possible to create new G/L accounts in MDG by copying from existing ones, but without access to the account group it's not possible to create new G/L accounts without using a template.

The Account Group is visible in the ECC system & checking the G/L configuration in both the ECC & MDG systems nothing appears to be missing. Anyone have any ideas?

Debugging the FSP0 screen in MDG did not identify any reason the Account Group subscreen is missing.

    Just in case someone else gets this error.

    The problem is that the configuration link copied in the ECC6 SKA1 table definition. The SKA1 table remain unaffected & worked as intended. So in SE16 all looked good but in SE11 the new GLACCOUNT_TYPE field was missing which impacted any updates to those fields that relied on those field definitions.

    The fix was to reinstate the table definition of SKA1 from client 000.
