What's new in B1 E-Commerce?

Hi all,

I'm stuck in the world of the original netpoint version 5.96 waiting on an sql server 2005 upgrade. I'm trying to find out what has changed since SAP purchased praxis, and the new version of netpoint has been rolled out.

Our partner gave this response, "5.9 pl7 (5.9.7) is the latest non ramp up Webtools so it looks like you are only one patch from the latest official release."

Is that netpoint version 5.9 or the new B1 webtools version 5.9?

Anyway, I'm looking for this list of bug fixes, improvements, etc. to make sure that it is worth the time and trouble to upgrade.

Bryce, if you read this, I think you could probably answer this the best, you worked with our implementation, and you know where we are.

Well, thanks for any and all input. I'm just trying to plan my IT year.

    Hi Jim

you would do well to upgrade to web tools 2007, which is really Netpoint 6.2.4.

It requires SQL 2005 and synchs well with B1 2005A.

The synchmanager is vastly improved and you can skip records causing errors in the B1 transaction queue.

I dont recall you guys making many changes to source code so upgrading should leave the themes intact.
