    Hi Kiran,

    To make the field mandatory, go to the Configuration->select the Field Properties for that field -> In Properties, select the 'Mandatory' check box.

    Apply and then save. ( This is static, it will always be mandatory )

    To make the field mandatory based on the value of some other field, you will have to use the GET_P method of that attribute.

    Sample code:

    case iv_property.
         when if_bsp_wd_model_setter_getter~fp_input_mandatory.
           if iv_display_mode = abap_true.
            rv_value = abap_false.
           **** Your Condition *****
             rv_value = abap_true.

    To populate the default value in a field.. use the GET method of that attribute.

    • Hi Kiran,

      You have to do that in BSP_WD_CMPWB tool. I checked that screenshot. You are on the right path.

      Before clicking EDIT button, make sure you are on correct configuration. Click on 'Choose Configuration' and select the correct configuration. Once the correct configuration is loaded, click EDIT button. It will ask for a TR. Select the TR or create a new one. Once you provide the TR number, the configuration will load again in editable mode. Then select the field and click 'Show Field Properties'. It will display the properties in EDIT mode. Select 'Mandatory' check box and APPLY. Click SAVE.

      Sorry, I am not infront of the system right now to give you screenshots.
