Use CRM table data in IPC SCE

Hi, Experts.

I've got question as I am new to IPC. We need to provide characteristics in a configurable product. However the dependencies written in our ECC contains logic that retrieve data stored in a non-standard table. For the characteristic to be able in our CRM, the dependency is necessary to be written out in the IPC. Is it correct that we need to use CRM_CONFIG_UI_BADI method SET_CONTEXT to retrieve the table data? Then, how do we connect this result to the IPC java code? Is there any specific method to retrieve the table data result written in the BADI?
