Address in Smartform

Hello,

I'm printing an address using address node in smartforms.

It prints name2 .Is there any way to suppress it?

Hi John,

According to SAP Help:

"Number of lines available for address formatting. If the number of lines is not sufficient for a complete formatting of an address, line after line is suppressed according to the rules of the particular country. To overrule the default sequence in which output lines are suppressed, use the parameter Priority of Lines."

I know about Priority of lines but not sure how to use it.

Check the documentation of FM ADDRESS_INTO_PRINTFORM, there is a paragraph which explains this in detail.

Reduce the number of lines to be used in the address node to 3. This should help you.

Also for example if you are printing address of a customer you can go to the general data(XD02) of a customer and in the Address tab you can see the Preview of the address.In the preview window using change parameters button reduce the number of lines and see the preview. You can use the same number of lines for your smartform address node.

The address preview can be found in any transaction that has address details
