CL_GUI_ALV_TREE: Editable field?

Hi together,

I have to enhance a program written by a colleague: It is an editable tree control where we can change some checkboxes. The tree control is inherited from CL_GUI_ALV_TREE. It has an additional method HANDLE_CHECKBOX_CHANGE.

I want to add an editable character field. I extended the structures, made change to field catalog but the field is not editable.

Any idea as how to proceed?

Thanks in Advance,

Clemens Li

Don't remember the exact solution - ther was some more invisible programming that had to be adapted. Issue resolved.

    • Hi,

YOu can follow the prcess mentioned below:

      1) Define the Output Data STructure as follows:

      DATA: Begin of Display_struct.

      Include structure SFLIGHT.

      DATA: style TYPE lvc_s_styl,

      End of Displya_struct.

DATA: Display_tab like standard table of Display_struct.

      2) Before passing the Output data tab in the SET_TABLE_FOR_FIRST_DISPLAY populate the style table as follows....

      LOOP at DIsplay_tab....

      style-fieldname = fieldcatalog-fieldname.

      style1 = cl_gui_alv_grid=>mc_style_disabled.

      insert into style.

      ENDLOOP

This way you can set the editable and non editable based on your own logic....

      Hope this sorts your issue...

      Sitakant...
