Customizing transaction code to bring into current settings/front end tcode

Dear Sir,

We are in production client and in ECC 6.0 version.

This is with regard to the customizing transaction code to be updated on a daily basis without asking for a customizing request.

Customizing transaction code is FBZP or OBVCU – Set up Bank determination for Payment transactions.

Maintenance Object for this IMG activity is: FIAPPY_VC_BANKDET_OB

In SCC4, for the production client 900 we changed to “No Changes allowed”. Because of this we couldn’t make any changes in the above transaction code and it is showing “Client 900 has status not modifiable”.

Even the same transaction code is available in SAP Easy Access but there also when we click that it is showing “Client 900 has status not modifiable”.

SAP Easy access front-end transaction codes for your reference:

1) S_ALR_87001486 – Enter available amounts for the payment program

2) S_ALR_87001487 – Bank selection for payment program

We checked in SAP note number 135028 – Transfer IMG activity to current setting, based on that note, we tried to make changes, but there also we couldn’t make as the “current setting” in the above maintenance object is showing in disabled position even in change mode.

Please guide us the procedure to bring the above customizing transaction code to front end activity. Also please let me know the SAP note number where they have specifically mentioned to resolve this issue.

As it is affecting the daily activities, it would be helpful if you could let me know the details at the earliest.

Thanks a lot for your immediate response.

We tried that in production client 900 only and in cross-client object changes we changed to "Changes to Repository and cross-client customizing allowed". Still I couldnt make any changes in "current settings" in maintenance object

I checked in note number 78329 - current settings cannot be maintained and they have mentioned "If the client is set to 'No changes allowed' (T000) in a production system, change the 'Category(test,prod.)' to 'Productive' using Transaction SCC4 to be able to change current settings anyway". Is this related to client role in SCC4 and here we have maintained as T Test. Is it because of this only, it is not allowing to make changes in current settings in maintenance object? Please let me know.

Hello Dwarkanath,

You SE06 settings would be avoiding this. In any case these changes ought be made in development environment and then moved to production.

Also note 78329 is not still relevant in your case. It will come into picture once current settings are maintained.

Also first check with SAP before you make these changes. If you are making changes on your own SAP might refuse to support you in case issues occur due to current settings. Also please note support pack imports might overwrite these changes.

Are you trying to make the changes based on OSS notes 135028 in development or production system. Please note that this is repository change ?
