condition type for discounts

We are providing discount equivalent to the tax value. Hence a condition type with condition class A & Calcn Type B set. The access sequence not set and this is an item condition. The expectation for this condition type is the tax value flowing in the condition should be displayed against the new condition type that is created. The step number in the procedure indicated is the condition type of the tax condition.

But after all this setting, the value against the new condition type not flow. Kindly help

Need to write a Alternative calc procedure for this scenario, create a new condition type with discount and assign the routine for this conditon type and regarding routine logic tell the abaper that ths routine has to fetch the data from the tax bettween those steps.

a better way of implementing this would be to assign a access sequence and have calculation type percentage

in the condition record maintain 100%

with vase value as your tax condition

so in case in future you want to control whether to absorb the tax or not u can do so by way of condition records
