Hi all,

i have a requirement

develop a new program to call transaction CG3Z. Selection screen should be the same as input values for CG3Z. Basically what I want is that to schedule Ftp'ing of file from Local Server to App. Server automatically in the background.

can we run CG3Z in the background.

any possible feedback will he helpful.

Hi Kamal,

I see what you are trying to accomplish.

But any communication with the front end system, is not possible in the background. calling CG3Z in a program and scheduling in in background, will not work.

As a work around, you may have to create a RFC Destination for your LOCAL machine in SAP (Transaction SM59) and write a program which reads data from this RFC Destination and writes to the application server.

Note that this program will be working only when run on the PC for which it was configured for.
