error in migo 501mov type

dear all,

while doing migo w/o ref of PO of a non-valuated material i got one error message i.e.

no stock posting is possible for this material type

please let me know why this error occured again

is it that i cant take this type of material inside my plant ?

Check in OMS2 for ur material type the quantity and value update is present in the plant in which u are doing GR

Please check the Qty updating indicator in transaction OMS2 for your Material Type & Valuation Area.
