want to plan material

hi,

I want to plan a material; the finished goods is of strategy 20, and some raw material of strategy 20 but one raw material of strategy 10 .

for finished goods individual / collective filed in MRP 4 is 1 and for raw material of strategy 20 it is 1 but the raw material of strategy 10, it is 2.

but system does not consider the stock of the raw material of strategy 10. and i am not any getting ant PR for it.

if I put individual / collective 1 for raw material of strategy 10, i am getting PR but specific to sales order.

i want Pr not specific to sales order.

hi partha,

your problem must have been solved.

you are saying with strategy 10, you are not getting any PR, this means its using ur stock (how come u know its not using stock)

and you should not use word Plan, since you ar using the strategy20 for FG, so its SO based planning which is not palnning.

and no need for keeping any strategy for raw materila if you are procuring the raw materail from outside(no PIR for Raw material, if hope)

in you case you want MTO for 1 raw material and MTS for other with collective requirement for the Raw material having strategy 10, (put 2 as india/colle indicator in MRP4 view)

Hi,

Generally need not to maintain planning strategy for raw matarial sinnce the planning material (FERT) have set PG group. Remove the PG for Raw materials.

Set the ind /collect indicator = 2 for the raw material to be produced at MTS.

Set the ind /collect indicator = 1 for the raw material to be produced at MTO.

Now try and come back
