Payload missing in File-File scenario

Hi,

I have created a scenario which is a combination of File-IDoc and File-File scenario.

First scenario is working fine.IDoc is getting generated and posted to SAP R/3.

I could see messages for these two as child messages in sxmb_moni with same message ID.

But in the second message, payload is missing in Call Adapter block and Response block in sxmb_moni.

Also, output file is not getting generated though the message is successful in sxmb_moni.

Could anyone please let me know what could be the reason for this.

Thanks.

Best Regards,

Shweta

    Shweta,

Ist check your Communication Channels are active or not.

if yes, Please check the status of channels in RWB under communication channel monitoring.

And see message monitoring what is actual cause of error there.

you can eaisly debug from there.

    Hi,

Can you please check the following:

    1) Check the file reciever communication status in RWB component monitoring.

    2) Check the target directory and the login credentials in file adapter.

    3) Check the output payload in SXMB_MONI.

    Thnx

    Chirag

    Hi Shweta,

You have created the scenario of File to IDOC and File to File in just one Integration scenario, then is it something like that,

File1 to IDOC as well as File2.

    or two seperate scenarios

as File1 to IDOC and File2 to file3

If the scenarios are different then it will create the problem and will not get worked even after getting the successful message.

There will be no sequence of 1st and 2nd scenario or even interlinking with each other so always 1st File to IDOC scenario will work out and 2nd will be supressed.

If this is not the case and you have same File 1 to be processed to IDOC and File2 then check either you have added two BS in receiver determination or not.

As well as just verify with below suggestion also for File to file

In your File-File scenario, could please confirm that you have mapped with the Structure Head node also.

    i.e.

    <Name>--header

    <F1>--sub fileds of structure Name

    <F2>

Here along with F1 & F2; verify either you have mapped the "Name" also with source Header structure.

Probably if you have missed it then it will process the empty payload and in File Communication channel, you have not selected to process Empty file paarmeter then it will show you successful message but file will not get posted.

    Thanks

    Swarup.

      Hi Shweta,

If you see your log you will get the trace as

      <Trace level="3" type="T">No triggers found. OK.</Trace>

      AND

      <Trace level="2" type="T">No Receiver found behaviour: 0</Trace>

      <Trace level="2" type="T">Number of Receivers:2</Trace>

This indicates that there is no linking between both transfers

File to IDOC and FILE to FILE.

You need some triggering point for 2nd interface in basis of 1st one.

Otherwise it will check for triggering point and will not process the interface,

Later trace is indicating about the activation status of all the objects you have used for 2nd Interface.

so As per my previous post please either add some connection between these two interfaces as triggering point or

teh sender file is same then use receiver determination

      Thanks
