Reports on Storage Bin without warehouse management Module

Hi,

What is storage bin? how can I make best use of this without warehouse mangement Module?

can I get reports on Storage bin without WM module?

My basic requirement in reports are

@ Material codes

@ Mtl Descrpn

@ Storage Bin

@ Storage Location

@ Qty

@ Mtl Value

@_etc...._

or any report which will help me to know the particular material code is from which storage bin.

Please give me the T codes which help me to fetch those reports..... Points will be difinetly rewarded.

    hi,

    Identifies the storage bin within a storage location where the material is stores.it is the physical location of the material withing the storage location.

    u can get the details list of the same through MARD table.

    To use this description field at storage location level makes only sense if you store one material always in this one fixed bin. One material cannot be stored in 2 different bins, at least it will not be visible then, and the info maintained is misleading then.

    This bin field is displayed in MMBE stock report (just one material) , but already missing in MB52 stock report (multiple materials).

    I know only one area that really uses this field: Physical inventory. Transaction MI31 has the bin as selection and sorting criteria.
