    Hello

Purchasing group is representign an individual or group of individulas. It is like employee no in any organisation. The purchasing group is not linked to any of the org elements.

It is one of the filtering interview questions in MM.

    regards

    hi,

purchasing group is a floating entitiy and not an organisational unit.So not assigned to Pur Org.

It is assigned to MMR or VMR .Thr that the assignment takes place for the P Org.

    Hope it is clear,

    Regards,
