2 ods to cube & cube to ods data transfer

Hi all,

How to load data from 2 ods to an infocube.??? Please exlpain step by step..

How to load data from cube to ods?? i have done export data source for cube...created update rules for ods...Now how can i transfer data?? where can i view this 8Infocube...How can i create infopackage for data tranfer??

Plz exlain step by step???

RClick on ODS - Update data to further data targets - Execute the Infopackage.

RSA1

Menu

Settings

Display generated objects

Show ODS generated objects

Create Infopackage on 8DS*

Hi ,

Thanks for that....I need to transfer from cube to ods....But how can i find the 8infocube....Then only i can trasfer data from CUBE to ODS...How can i create the infoPackge??????????

Hi,

Right click on the cube - Generate export source - then you will find 8XXXX(Cube name) in the infosource under datamart section.

In the infosource , if you are not able to view 8XXX(cube name) , then in the menubar - Settings - display generated object - show .

Go to ODS - create a update rule by giving the infocube name and then activate.

Then create a infopackage under the 8XXX(cube name) and then schedule it.

Thanks for that ...I am using 3.5 version...But i am not able to see 8XXX ..datamart section???? .can u tell me step by step....

Hi,

Go to RSA1 -Infosource - in the menubar - you will find settings - display generated objects - click on show generated ods object . Then refresh the screen and find your 8XXX..

Hi,

I dont know why? Its not showing for me...But it is there.in the template section when i try to create another infosource...Any way thanks..
