How many records can we take from Excel sheet?

Hi,

Please let know how many records can we take at a time from an excel sheet, using the FM ALSM_EXCEL_TO_INTERNAL_TABLE?

    excel can store max 65,000 rows,

    so this function module can get 65,000 records from excel to itab

    65536 upto Excel 2003

    1,048,576 in Excel 2007

    But in our function module for the table which is returned from the FM, the row and column fields are of type NUMC(4).

    So, can this FM accommodate 65,000 recods?

    We have only NUMC(4) length, so I think it can't take more than 9999 records.
