Count on ALV Screen Output

Hi,

I've used FM REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY to display an ALV.

When i run the report, and on the ALV output screen, i select a column and go to menu bar of the alv output screen (Edit->Calculate->Count) then 'Count' is disabled.

M i missing something. I didn't get any substantial reply from my previous post therefore this new one follows.

Plz provide some sample code for better understanding.

How can i enable this Count functionality of the ALV.

Plz Help.

Hi,

modify the I_DEFAULT exporting parameter of the function module. If his doesn not work in your case, u need to create events and use them in the funstion module.

Hi,

I think you mean SUM button, if so, then in the fieldcatalog pass SUM = 'X'.
