Materials marked for deletion

Hai,

In MI31 T.Code, we will find one check box as "Materials Marked for Deletion" I can understand that if we select this check box ,materials with delete flags are also take into account for physical inventory process.

But I didnt understand what is the exact meaning of term materials with delete flags, and where we have the option of make delete flag for a material.

Can any body help me.

Hi,

As told to you by Mr Vishal, if the mateial is no longer in use. You can flagged that material on client level / plant level / valuation type /storage location level by suing T-code MM06. If you have flagged the material for deletion, the material will not be usable for any transaction. If you want to remove deletion flag you can also do by using MM06.

If you don't want to include deletion flagged items in MI31, Please remove tick where deletion flagged option.

Hi

If material is no longer in use we can set it for deletion in MM06

Check this trnx. where we can set material for deletion at plant or Storage location level
