Where can i find ECCN number in material master? what is the use of it?Thanks

Hi,

The Export Control Classification Number (US-ECCN) can be found at material master -foreign trade export or foreign trade import tab.

Click on the Legal control button that is available in the Legal Control box.

Here you can select the country and you can see the number details (if already an entry is available or you can enter using MM02).

ECCN is used for GTS - Global trade services, if you are using this functionality than only it will be populated in the mateial master
