Maintenance Optimizer Error: TMWFLOW/MO_BACKEND111

Former Member

Hello,

We get an error when trying to use MOPZ so that it automatically calculates the files to be downloaded.

/TMWFLOW/MO_BACKEND111

Not all instances required for the installation are active.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

I would like to know if anyone has gotten this error before, and how to get started on resolving the root cause.

Hi JOhn,

No John, you don't have to register your portal to any other products. SAP brought MOPz out for those are official SAP customers so that no one can take advantage of latest fixes. I have done it your way. Mine is working fine.

Hope it helps.

Thanks,

Should there be some RFCs defined to the portal system in SMSY ? Could that be the issue?

Check your work/log see if you find any error. Check your both systems logs and dumps... etc..

Hi,

No, I don't think it's an RFC. If it was ABAP & JAVA then yes, Rfc must be working fine.

Did you try my trick to fool the system? lol

Hi,

Try this,

select any system. it does not have to be portal. confirm your download basket. when you confirm download basket, dont select all. just select one and confirm. then all of them will be available to download.

HAve done configuration in tcode aisuser? your s# should be there and you should S_Tcode.. ETC..

Thanks again.

The download basket does not appear to be the problem. I am able to manually select files and add them to my download basket and then confirm them in MOPZ.

The problem we are having occurs when MOPZ is trying to connect to systems in the landscape when attempting to automatically determine a list of downloads for us by analyzing the technical landscape. We have not gotten to the download basket step yet.

Areyou able to see download basket to confirm files?

No files were chosen for the download basket.

I am wondering if MOPZ is expecting our portal to be "registered" differently in SMSY.

Our portal is registered inder "SAP Netweaver" with the following "main instances" checked as "relevant": "Enterprise Portal". Is it expecting portal to be registered under a different product, or have additional "main instances" listed as "relevant"? These are just some thoughts...

HI,

please register your portal in solman's SLD. then use MOPZ. you should be able to download/confirm download bsket.

Thanks,

Thanks for your reply.

We have portal defined in the solution already. This was done before we created the MOPZ entry.
