what is F%

In one the custom program I was fixing issues with, I came across a syntax : kunnr NOT LIKE 'F%'..

What is the purpose of this?

    Hello,

    This means wildcard character

    In ur case, the select staement will not select the records

    when the kunnr NOT LIKE 'F%'..

    ie) If the KUNNR start with F say for example FASDB then this KUNNR will ot be selected.

    It takes the fields that do not starts with the letter F.

    for example

    Kunnr having fields : s002s, fiyo, rytr, f65tri, byue4, huy

    then it takes only s002s, rytr, byue4, huy
