Cost Object Mapping in Central Finance system

jeson_noronha

I have a scenario i.e. when we create a Sales Order (related to Cost Object) in ECC(source system) an Internal Order must get created in CFIN(target system). So that in latter case, if there is a transactional posting for the Sales Order in ECC (Example : Billing document) , then for the Financial document posted in CFIN , it updates the relevant Internal Order(Internal Order that was created earlier).

Can this be achieved using SLT mapping ? i.e. MWB Tool within SLT or through Custom Code ?

This requirement is to match the Trial Balance between ECC and CFIN system.

The standard cost object mapping tool does not support sales order replication. The orders that can be replicated are based off AUFK table (process, production, quality, internal orders etc). You would have to build a custom solution, either with SLT or via some other means such as Enterprise service.

Thanks

Hi Jeson,

Cost object can also be mapped and posted in S/4 HANA Central Finance system if your source system's document has the cost object. You just need appropriate data mapping in Central Finance system for cost object as well.

See below link if it helps you further.
