Hi ,
I had taken the backup of some sync BOs from the SAP system. Now I want to import them to the server.
Can anyone help me with how to import the syncBOs?
Thanks & Regards
Neha Mahanty
You can migrate SyncBOs between systems using either text files or transport objects. To migrate a SyncBO using a text file use the Download to File and Upload from File options. To migrate a SyncBO using the SAP transport technology use the Export and Import options.
Procedure
Migrating a SyncBO from a System
...
...
1. Start transaction merep_mig.
2. Select Download to File or Export for the transport action.
Select transport action Export for the migration of objects as a transport file. Select transport action Download to File for the migration of objects to a text file.
3. Enter the SyncBO ID in the section Selections for SyncBO ID.
4. Select the Mapping option in the SyncBO Definition Objects section.
You can select SyncBO Exit Source in the SyncBO Definition Objects section if custom code is added to the SyncBO(s).
Also select SyncBO configurations to download the additional configuration parameters defined in the profile dialog (see Defining Additional Configuration Parameters for SyncBOs).
You can also deselect Overwriting Allowed at Import or Upload if you want to avoid the SyncBO to be overwritten in the target system.
5. To define further selection criteria, choose Advanced Selection.
6. Choose Execute. Alternatively, you can choose Simulate for a test run.
7. Assign the RFC destinations.
When you import the SyncBO definition, a similar dialog box appears in which you can enter or change the RFC destinations.
8. Choose Continue.
9. Enter the name of a download file.
10. Choose Save to perform the download.
Transport objects or a text file are generated for transport to another SAP Web AS.
