Material do not be purchase

Hi,

I want to create a Material but this material will not be purchase.

Is it korrekt if I create the Material without MRP views?

And in the BOM the material as N (non-stock material).

Hii Dede,

No need to create purchsing view for the subjected material. MRP views are maintaining for the planning of the material. Moreover, I would like to knw, how would you take this material in your plant? Are you mfg this material?

if u dont want to purchase the material u should procure it internally. so if u have any kind of planning for that internally procured material u need to have mrp views, should maintain bom if any. work centers and routing only then u will get the procurement proposals.

Hi,

we don't want to purchase the material T (for Transport) because we still have it in the stock. they will be use to tranport another material X(exemple) and after selling the material X. we will use the same material T to transport another material X.

Is it correct to put Item pos. "N" in the BOM for this Transport Material?

when u have it in the stock how can u give N. give as L which is stock item. and u dont have to have purchasing view.

The Material T is a Box. It doesn't accept the item pos. L. maybe I have to look in the master data (MM01) which material type we use and in the customizing allow the Item pos L for this type of material.

I guess you need to create transport material. Why dont you use material type HIBE (operating Supplies). If your query has been solved, please close the thread and reward for useful replies.
