hi gurus,

we are transporting abjects from devolopment to quality system.

every time i am creating the request and ending with return code 8.

can anyone let me know how can we know wt r the objects are missing in the transport..

and how to transport them.(for every request it showing some objects are missing).

Hi

Check any dependent object missed... All the objects missed as indicated by the system needs to be transported.

If everything is ther, check everything is active

Check any other's request is locking your objects required.

In case of exits and codes used,check the active status of them

Check the Longtext in log. U can find the list of missing objects.

What are you trying to transport?

Include all objects which you want to transport and then release the transport.

To include the objects

Goto Extras and write transport request

then select the request.

Hi,

am transporting multiprovider and reports.

i am included missing objects in a new request and released but again it was ended with errors.

this time it's showing some new missing objects.

please help me how to solve this problem.

Hi Madhu

Transport your multi provider only first ,if the transport is succesful then transport your reports.

To transport your reports, goto transport connection and object types then select your quriesand drag and drop then create transport request.If your saved your queries on a role then you need to transport role and quries as well.
