To change edit mode

Hello friends,

I need to edit an include in a program.How to make it .Before working on the main client.I am working on Sandbox.But it showing an error while I am clicking Edit mode .

Error is :

Changes to Repository or cross-client Customizing are not permitted

Choose 'Display object' or 'Cancel'.

What I have to do.

Hi,

Please check out if you have required authorizations for taht aprticular program to EDIT. (EDITOR Locks and Authorizations Groups will make the difference)

Hi,

I think you don't have authorization to create or change the objects.Please check with the basis people.

Hi Sunil,

In the Sandbox system , there are no authorization to change the program,

The practice is to create object in development test it and transport it to sandbox or quality test it and after that transport it to production systems.

So u will not have any authorization to change the program in sandbox system, the authorization part will be done by the basis persons.

Hi sunil,

In transaction SCC4 for the particular client when u double click it, the detail window will be shown

in that screen , for the cross-client object changes field basis guys might have set to 3 ( changes to resp and cross-client not allowed ) ....that's why the error is coming.
