Hi,

header table will have only main data where as the item data will have material delivery date other things based on the availabilty and committement

Hi,

As far as I know, a header data can have more than one line item data.For an e.g. if you try to create a PO in ME21N you have to first enter the header data and then enter the line items data such as material,quantity,date etc..So for the same header data,many line items are entered which then form a PO.

Can you explain the case where you need it.

In general it is possible.

Ex: Sales order can be created using 2 or more purchase orders. Hence one sales order header data remains and multiple items exist.
