Credit Control Area not visible in Customer Master Record

Dear Friends,

I have customized Credit Management for one of our client . The Credit Control Area is not visible in Customer Master Record in the Billing Tab under Sales Area Data. Kindly suggest me some solutions . I feel there is some settings which needs to be checked .

Dear Friends,

I have got the solution .Define Transaction-Dependent Screen Layout tcode: OB20. Transaction dependent control. If it is suppressed then u wont see that in change transaction. Make credit control area settings as optional.

Hi Manoj...

You are perfectly right...

Just wanna tel u that watever changes u will d in OB20, it will affect all types of customer records. If you wanna do this change only in your type of customers (account group defined by you) then instead of OB20, use OBD2... Then go to the account group(defined by you) of customers and go to 'Edit field status'.. And make the field changes in there.

This is better practice than wat is done OB20.

first u check the assignment at OVFL, if not there please maintain. if it is ok,

Then go to OBD2, customer master layout settings, goto 0001 acct grp , goto sales area, billing tab check the field is in hide mode, change it to optional or required mode.

Check for that particular sales area of that customer credit control is assigened or not, then only the credit control will be accepted to that particular customer in that sales area.
