I understand write statment does not generate spool log. but according to my program there is a open dataset-close dataset which ll write the output onto the apllication server and at the final out put there is write statement which says result is written to application server which i can access thro AL11. My doubt is how else can i check the spool log generated for my report program when i run the program in background process??
the same data is not displayed in my output screen. According to the program only a msg ll b displayed in the output whereas the data is written onto application server.Thts where i want clearence. is there any function module to check this???
