Widget Preferences - URGENT

Hi all,

I've installed the widget engine and i'm using "BI_WIDGET_V2_75" widget. Since i specified an incorrect ABAP host name in widget's preference, i couldn't open the widget. I get an error and couldn't even open the widget. I need to change the ABA host in the widget preference.

I tried reinstalling both the widget and the widget engine, its not opening. Can anyone tell me where are the widget's preferences stored, so that i could modify the ABAP host in it.

Hello,

Right click on the widget you may see widget preferences in it, check whether are you able to give your sap details or is it asking for SAP service provider.

if it asking for sap service Provider name then you require service provider name.

Have you installed SAP widget foundation tool?

In this tool you can create your own service provider name by entering all the details.

I guess this is what you are looking for , if not plese let me know.

Hello,

What do you mean by opening the widget? Are you trying to see the code of the widget, if this is the case don't open the code. Double click on the widget then you might be getting on the screen and change the widget preferences by left click on the screen of widget.

One question I have for you, Have you installed SAP widget foundation tool.

just rename the widget and run it. the old values (set in prefeence) wont be used. (i need to find out where the preference gets saved)
