Error AA025 No depreciation areas have been defined for asset700000001653-0

Dear All,

I tried to run cj88 and put WBS element . It shows error message AA025. No depreciation areas have been defined for asset 700000001653-0

What should i do?

I guess the configuration values are missing in SPRO. Check the node OAYZ, the asset class to which the asset belongs should be assigned to a depreication area.

There could be many other dependent settings you could have missed in Asset Accounting.

I would suggest you to take help of an FI-AA person to help you out. Anyways please find attached a link to basic Asset accounting configuration guide which can be helpful.
