Set Validation

Hi All,

The requirement is like this. I have created a set with asset class(capital in place asset class) which i will be using with validation. What needs to be done is that when a fixed asset is entered in the distribution rule(wbs - maintain settlement rule) the system should check the asset class of entered asset with those in the set.

Please help with your input.

Hi

Create a validation by using the T.Code OB28. This is possible using validation. In Validation you specify the rule and in which T.Codes it should be validated. Then specify whether the system should show a warning message or information message or Error message. If it helps, assign points.

Yes thats helpful but the problem is not creating a validation.

Distribution rule defined in WBS - Maintain settlement rule is in PS area.

So if i write a validation for WBS master data then in the check condition i am not sure how do i include the set as asset class structure is not avaliable under tab Table Field.
