Changing the background colour of the Portal Logon Screen

Hi Everyone,

I am experiencing some difficulties trying to change the Portal Background colour of the login screen. I have attempted the following steps all to no avail:

a) I have attempted to change the actual html "body bgcolour" tag within the logon PAR file but this has not proved successful.

b) Secondly, after changing the colour of the portal body in my customised theme to white, I attempted to change the default theme of the default portal desktop (content provided by SAP > End User Content > Deafult Portal Desktop) to my customised theme and this has not worked!

I have had a look through various other questions on SDN but no one else seems to have been provided with an answer.

I am truly at my wits end so any help will be welcomed.

Thanks in advance.

I think your first option should work. For me it was working fine. Did you follow all the steps of logon page customization properly. Check once again.

Thanks for your answer as well Pankaj, I had definitely followed all the steps but Shailesh's CSS code has resolved the issue.

I have awarded points and paid my necessary dues.
