go to SPRO- MM -Inv mgt -Goods receipt--Set Delivery completed Indicator setting

select plant and tick and save

if the "delivery completed" indicator has not been set, an item is considered closed once the total quantity has been delivered

, then go the P.O and set the delivery completed indicator ,it will be set,so that you can close the p.o if material is received in partial qty

      Hi,

Del. completion flag doesnot mean that the system will not allow further GR. if the qty of 100 is requested for delivery from vendor and if you recieve qty 80 pcs and after recieving it if you feel it is sufficient and if you put del completion indicator the system will not stop you for recieving another qty 20 pcs.

del completion indicator is used basically for MRP when you put this indicator system understands PO is closed but however you can recieve the remaining qty. while calucalting MRP the system will exclude these PO items for MRP calculation.

to close the PO you should reduce the qty required or you can block the line item from further reciveing of goods.

      hope i made it clear

      Regards
