Character in POS but not in selection

Hi,

I have a character called "Department" in the POS and also the CVCs generated with values filled in. But when I am trying to create a selection profile in SDP94 using the tree icon in left hand side selections menu, it is not showing up in the list of characteristics that I can choose from.

Can any one point the reason for this problem? To my knowledge, if we have a character in CVC, it should show up in selection creation.

Have you added the characteristic in the planning book definition?
