if you have installation CD, you will find the installation docs on them. it`s in PDF format and should reside on the MASTER or KERNEL CD/DVD

    • Installation on Unix are not much different.

The difference is, that you need to know how to deal with a Unix system, how to start a shell, how to set operating system kernel parameters. The "sapinst"-part looks exactly the same.

If you know HP-UX and you know how sapinst works, you'd be able to do it.

You will NEED the marketplace ID to

    - get the latest installation notes for known problems

    - get the latest information about HP-UX kernel parameters

    - get the necessary Oracle patches

    (to be continued)

You will need access for the liscence key anyway to register your installation.
