Re: Xi or Bi

Hi allll,

i am working as a SAP ABAP CONSULTANT in one of the MNc, i wanna shifted to xi or Bi which one suits me ?

    Hi Sashi,

    Both BI and XI are middleware. I think BI would be better than XI.

    i would suggest you to go for BI, because it is going to become a very good market in near future and a organization always needs a BI consultant.

    If you're more of a technical mindset and enjoy interfaces, mapping and data flowing from one system to another, being merged, split and routed to different places, then XI.

    If you've more of a business mindset, and enjoy manipulating large data sets, gathering, consolidating and reporting on data, then BI. Though a good BI chap or chapess will be also be pretty technical.

    ( BI is not middleware - it is a data warehouse ).

    XI and BI both look to be growth markets.
