variant without se38

Hi. Anyone knows hot to create a variant without tcode to execute the program and without SE38? thanks!

Hi,

You can run the program (report) using the transaction code or some

other way to call it. You can enter the values for the variant and

select the buton save on the toolbar. Once you've done this, you'll be

asked for a name and a text for this new variant (and some other

checkboxes). Provide the name, text and save it.

Another way, is to store information in these tables varid , varis ,

varit and vari.

Hi Jagan, try this,

Input the values in the selection screen and click on save button or Ctrl+s a button will displayed adjacent to the execute button.

Hi,

U can un the program in 2 ways, either by program or by transaction.

also u can run the pogram by tcode SA38, there also u need to give the program name.

first execute the program/tcode and give the values , save->give the variant name and text.

next time when u r unning th program just selct the variant.
