    Hi

    Dear Kumar,

    Free of Cost (FOC) materials can be handled in two ways;

    (a) Through PO using Free Items clicking ICON in transaction code ME21N

    (b) Through manitaining condition records using transaction code MBN1

    Using this, materials can receive free of goods...that means....you can make goods receipt....but not valuated....i mean.....no liability will create.

    Dear

    while creating the PO through ME21n tick on free check box just near to the info record coloumn (general setting) in the row on which you are creating the PO of the material.

    if the PO is Free then the you need not to taking care of the GRN

    if clear rewards accordingly.

    Hi Abbas,

    The only thing you have to do is to use the free of charge indicator (thick box) for the relevant items in your PO (ME21N/ME22N). (of course if other settings that are necessary to purchase the goods are OK)

    Net price will be 0 and IR indicator will be cancelled on 'invoice' tab you won't be able to assign any invoice to it AFAIK.
