In PI sheet component quantity is less or more than requirement .

Hi,

We are working with PP-PI scenario; we are filling the value in PI Sheet, of components less than requirements, System follow all activities as normal without any error.

We have need error message if the component quantity is less or more than requirement.

Pl helps me for creating the error or not allow to further activities as per normal

Hi Rajesh,

PI sheets works on the Process Management component.

This means, it wont check the database tables for stock or any validity for values entered.

This can be achieved through developing certain functional modules and assigning them to the PI Characteristics in the validity tab or assigning them in the Process instruction configuration.

In your case...even if you are entering quantity more than available stock. system wont show any errors in the PI Sheet...But you can see the error in the CO52 ( Message monitor) for the particular order.

While using CO52 please carefully enter the selection date...

Hi,

My problem is not related to stock availibility.

Problem is the requirement quantity of components against to pegged material .

In PI sheet operator put the value less or more , There is not error came out system follow normal activity.

I have require system ether raise the error or not follow the next step

Hi Rajesh,

What ever the case, PI sheet cant promt a error unless otherwise the validation is attached to the characteristics or the Process instruction.
