year 2008 is absent in filter list of the query?

Hi,

we have a workbooks which will have the data on yearly basis with each year having different workbooks.

Now since the year is changed, when i want to save the query with year selection 2008,the year it self is not present in the filter list of the query? it has ofcourse has the previous years like 2006, 2005 etc.

How to get the new year 2008 in the filter list of the query?

is that when you select the f4 help of the date characteristic in the selection screen, you are not able to view 2008???? Is this the issue or something else????

Could you please tell which characteristic are you using for the date ?????

Hello,

i am trying in the result area itself not in the query definition as we always do.

and the characteristic is nothing but 0CALYEAR.

when the year changes, we simply change the filter in the query and save it as a different workbook with the new year included in the tilte.

now when i try to filter the year in the result set, i could not find the year 2008 itself . but it does has the previosu years like 2006, 2005 etc.

Create variable and add into the Restricted key fig.

R.click on Variable and add include selection "+1", It will display 2008 year data.
