Changing Reservations

Dear Experts,

When one of my users creates a PM Order and enter components with the availability check system gives the message that the stock is not sufficient. But since this is a priority order stock has to be released from some other order and allocated to this. So I searched and found some orders where I can release stocks. But the problem is how can I release stocks. One option is to delete the material line of the order and re-enter once the reservation for the priority order has been made. But this is not a good method as it could lead to mistakes. So is there a better method like deactivating lines where reservation is removed.

Additionally,is there a way to reserve a particular serial item to a PM Order?

Yes correct. Then go for edit in order at iw 32. Do the deletion. There after it will not appear while doing the migo.

If u want to see the deleted items put delete on @ iw 32. u can find this at header menu.

1 st thing is dat u cant delet the reservation aginst that order from which u suppose to take the component.Do one thing go in MIGO put ur order no. for material movement and take the material movement type 262 post dat component to store so ur reservation for that order from which u have take component is get relaese for ur priorities order now u can use dat component for ur priorities order.so sufficient stock available for ur prioritise order.

Check the reservation deletion thro MBVR, MB22 (set deletion there)

Dear Rakesh,

I cannot use movement type 262 because it increases stock which is wrong. On the other hand if you have not made any issue from the order you are not allowed to unissue as well.

All I want is to remove the reservation.

Dear Thenna,

You cannot remove reservations from those two T-Codes for maintenance orders. The system help says for maintenance orders the reservation is automatic. Just wanna a way to remove the reservation.
