Hi!
The error message is shown because of the following reason..
'Course Type Info' tab integration with Time Management is active
'Allowed in attendee's time off' checkbox not marked. That means, employee cannot be booked on an off day.
The problem is probable with the work schedule.
Check these things and do let me know whether the problem is solved or not.
Best regards,
Zsolt
Just one more hint:
Chandu, your explanation seem to be wrong..
1.) create business event with or without resources in PSV2. This will be a "child" of an already existing business event type.
2.) switch to PSV1, right click on the business event and choose "Book" or "Book list".
With the first you will be able to book one entity with the second one you can do list bookings e.g. more than one in one time..The second one is for "mass bookings".
best regards,
Zsolt
i have actually done the above mentioned steps before... and it gives the error saying the person is not allowed for booking.. i know how to create a biz event and assign it to event type.. my problem is to book attendance for the person for a particular event.. i am able to do this only for the persons who directly report to the root org... while creating the biz event type.. i hav given the relationship :is organized by"" as root org... i am not able to book attendance for ppl in sub org units,,,,.
plz help me out with this..
you can also check if the attendee have other bookings that might be in conflict with the schedule of the BE you are currently trying to book.
your best bet is the time management integration thingy.
Check the planned working time of the attendee and book into him into a BE where the schedule is not in conflict with the days where the employee is working or holiday or his/her off day.
You are messing with me )
Choose one Business Event, and right click on.
THere is a "Firmly book / Cancel" option. You click on and you have 3 options (firmly book for max/opt capacity, cancel event...)
Check once again.
In case you don't find it, send me an OSS Message to the component PE-DA and you will receive a solution soon
Ciao,
Zsolti

Man!
Are you an onsite consultant? Or a key-user?
Business event cancellation means that the event is removed from the business event catalogue.. After cancelling this event you won't have it anymore in the "list" of business events.
OSS Message is the communication way from your site to the SAP Global Support. Here you can report investigated error, malfunctions in your system via a message.
Best regards,
Zsolt
