Hi,

our main question is: Is it possible to publish dedicated applications created with Lumira 2.0 Designer to a website with information for customers?

As part of it we want to know, wether...

...it is possible to use a fix (technical) user for loading such applications on a website?

...it is possible to use a special tomcat server in a dmz as part of a cluster where the website can access the application(s)?

Is this technically possible to manage?

Yes all of that is possible. Depends on your IT and web infrastructure and products you're using.

p.s.
do not put tomcat in DMZ. that is a very bad practice. Web application servers should not be in DMZ. Web servers should. Or LB's , proxies.

Hi Denis,

thank you for that quick and satisfying reply.

Are there any documenations or guides for such scenario? I couldn't find anything so far.

well, you'll need to read BI Platform guides and Lumira guides, as well as general networking and DMZ guides.
The BI Platform and Lumira guides can be found at http://help.sap.com
