Single space problem in smart forms

Hei Experts,

Till now, i was using the following three techniques for giving single space in Smart Forms :

1. Tab position

2. Table line ( splitting in columns and populating the variables in the columns to preserve

3. Concatenateing variables separated by space into one variable and then printing the final variable

Apart from these techniques, I observed that SAP standard smartform 'F150_DUNN_SF' is displaying page

no ( eg Page 1 / 3 ) with proper spaces between Page and page nos.

AND THIS IS DONE WITHOUT ANY TAB SPACES. When I copy the same form into a Y custom form and activate it, the space between Page and Page nos goes off.

Any idea???? Please share your views....

Thanks....

    • Hi Rudresh,

      In that Smartform Just u have to do one thing.

      IN text editor mode

      insert->chracters->sap symbols->(space)

      or

      just add where u want spaces

      <672>

      then it will take a single space.

      Actually This number is changing in different systems.

      regards,

    Hi,

    You create a character type and then use this between space and this will work
