Setting Environment Variable CPIC_MAX_CONV

Former Member

Hi Experts,

In of the steps during POST INSTALLATION of PI7.0 it says to set the variable CPIC_MAX_CONV, using the transaction RZ10.

When i logged in to the abap system , and checked in RZ10,did find any variable of this name.

Do I need to create it first and then set the value gw/max_conn_per_wp.

If yes, give me the steps to do this. or else any other alternative.

Thanks in advance,

Younus

Hi Younus,

Select Instace Profile in RZ10 and next choose Extended Maintained option box. Click in display and you could see all parameters . Double click over the parameter and change the value, I recomend you put this value to 200.

On the other hand, the parameter CPIC_MAX_CONV must be changed in SSOO.

Best regards

Iván

But, It is asking a default profile name, and I don't have any profiles created already.

Can you tell me where can i find this variable CPIC_MAX_CONV.

Do we have to create this variable in RZ11 transaction.

Please help me.

Thanks,

Hi,

Check this note :

2.- /thread/174978

The parameter CPIC_MAX_CONV is a environment variable that you find in Unix or windows, depends where you had installed SAP PI.
