PM integration with PP

PM Experts,

we tried to plan a maintenance schedule that would bump into the schedule of production. we tried to see if sap will have an error stating that there is a maintenance plan that is being done, but nothing happened. Production was able to release its production order.

i tried to check our work centers:

Equipment: work center: PP

Main work center: PM

Task List: work center: PM

What should i do for Production to be notified that there is a pending maintenance order?

hi

system will not say that PM schedule is waiting, what the system will do is it will reschdule the order of most feasible dates excluding the date which is reserved for PM ,you can check it in the planning boards

Hi i cant quite undersdtand what you mean.. i checked out planning boards but i cant understand what it is all about..

suppose PM work is scheduled for that equipment in 30 and 31of jan then if you create Process/Production order in this date the system will resheduled to 01 feb also you can see the schduling of PM order in production/process order planning board

let clear one thing dat the Equipement is work center for the PP and for Plamnt maintenance it is equipment only.When creating order or plan some maintenance work on that equipement which workcenter for the PP. In PP module der is standard functinality Capacity planning of work center in Routing when ur maintenance work is going on dat equipement den work center capacity get reduced due to ur maintenace work which will reflect in PP capacity planning. according dat reduced capacity planning production order release.der is no std functinality dat u can intimate the PP dat ur work center is in maintenance not use it. it will reflect in capacity planning of PP routing.According dat reduced capacity PP plan the production scheduling.

how can i check the capacity plan in the pp side if the maintenance has been reflected on the actual capacity. is there a tcode where i can view this? im really not familiar with the pp module

Just check T-code CM01, Cm21,CM23....

you use the above said T codes or while creating a production order you can see in the planning board fo this go to the production order in change mode and select the planning board in the area menu
